For aesthetic purposes, coolers can be painted in any standard RAL or BS colour. Paint specification consists of:
Other paint specifications are available on request.

In order to keep coolers operating at optimum capability the inlet face of the coil block should be maintained to keep it free from debris such as leavers, etc. This option helps to increase the time between such maintenance.
If ordering in conjunction with extended legs, quoted price is subject to change.
If ordering in conjunction with unit painting, leg mesh will not be painted and will remain in standard galvanized finish.

Allow quick and easy access to the coil face below the fan plate for maintenance and cleaning of the fin block. If necessary, access would otherwise require the removal of the fan and plate.

One lugged and tapped valve is supplied per cooler connection. As the valves are tapped, the simultaneous isolation of equipment and removal of connecting pipe work is possible.

Coolers are supplied with an auto air vent on the highest connection manifold and a ½” drain valve.
Note – this package is designed to aid the draining of coolers but, as they are not self draining as standard, does not guarantee full draining of equipment. This is particularly relevant when considering how to best avoid frost damage as some water may be left in the cooler.

Note: Transtherm can only comment on the likely performance of the cooler if provided with site drawings showing intended cooler location prior to point of order.

A UV Sterilisation System and Spray Booster Pump are an imperative part of Transtherm’s adiabatic safety features. As standard, in the event of either of them failing the adiabatic system will be shutdown and can start to operate once the fault has been fixed. For critical applications, where this could instigate system problems, the Run and Standby UV Sterilisation and Spray Booster Pump Package is recommended. Should either the run UV Sterilisation System or Spray Booster Pump fail the Standby Systems will operate in their place giving continued running of the adiabatic system.
Our optional extras are designed to ensure your equipment performs reliably in even the most demanding environments.
